Frida Giannini discusses how technology is valuable not just by posting something on a blog or updating her Twitter but also how technology allows her to communicate better with members of her own team. She regularly uses videoconferencing to hold meetings between her offices in Milan, New York and Paris. Also she highlights the importance of technology in her designs, "Gucci designs are always first done by hand before being put onto the computer for renderings", she says.
It is important not to forget that because the social side of technology is booming there are other areas that have yet to progress further and be touched upon.
